Welcome to EMDR Easy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EMDR Easy mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. General Information & Age Limits
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the direct supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Medical & Health Disclaimer
Critical Notice:
- Not a Substitute for Professional Treatment: EMDR Easy is designed as a self-help and wellness tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or psychological treatment.
- Assumption of Risk: EMDR therapy can trigger intense emotional responses. By using this App, you acknowledge and assume all risks. If you have severe PTSD or a history of trauma, you must consult a qualified medical professional before use.
3. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
EMDR Easy offers premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions managed by RevenueCat.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled 24 hours before the period ends.
- Refund Policy: All payments are handled via Apple or Google. We do not issue direct refunds.
4. Intellectual Property
All code, design, features, sounds, and content are the exclusive property of the contact person. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
Your use of the App is strictly at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the contact person shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or psychological damages arising from your use of the App.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the App, including reverse-engineering, hacking, or bypassing security paywalls.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Slovakia and the European Union. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the courts located in Slovakia.
